Izmir Democracy University, one of the newest universities in Turkey, is also one of the fastest growing universities in our country. The university was established in 2016 and started educational activities with 4 undergraduate programs in the 2017-2018 academic year. This number has been increased to 31 undergraduate, 23 graduate and 3 Ph.D. programs in the 2018-2019 academic year.
With its experienced and dynamic staff, Izmir Democracy University possesses the vision of being one of the leading universities of our city, region, and country in terms of research and education. Also, our university aims to provide information sharing and to strengthen interaction with society in the light of national values.
